I may have missed this but assuming one wanted to use MC instead of acetone
where would he purchase it. Also, what type of container should be used to
dispense it. At the factory the techs only use it for cleaning clekos and
other tools of hysol. For that purpose they use a large glass container. I
don't think the standard plastic acetone dispenser (with the push top) would
be adequate since the plastic would certainly melt. Any ideas?

click on the link labelled "Materials & Supplies"... you'll find a listing
of all of the sources for MC that have been discussed here over the
years. As for the dispenser, most industrial supply houses offer a
metal version of those "push-top" dispensers, with the metal screen
over the top, and they will work well with MC as they have no plastic or
rubber parts... even the gaskets are cork. Anticipated price... $15-25.
