I'm sure that at least some of the 2 by 4's could be used, but not sure about the plywood ...??? Dana Westphal Dana, Jim and I bought 2 by 4's and plywood to make cradles and work tables, and fortunately didn't get them built before our IV-P kits arrived. There was enough crating to make two wing tables, a wet and a dry cutting table, several small stands and work tables; and probably a small house with the leftovers that we gave away (we had 2 planes crated together, but even so, the amount of crating was impressive). The crating sheathing was 1/2" plywood, which we doubled for the work/table tops. Know the Legacy is smaller, and don't know the specific cradles required, but I wouldn't invest in new building materials until you see what you get, or perhaps write one of the owners who have already received their kits on the specifics. I'm sending you a paper/pictures of the rotation jig we built for our fuselages directly. This may be the second most time saving device we have--second only to the pneumatic mini grinders with carbide cutters. You'll have to modify the design for the Legacy, but I believe the device is well worth the investment to build it.
