I've had great results using a the sanding drum on my dremmel set to LOW
speed. High speed melts the Lexan. You have to go slowly. When you're
done, fine grit sand paper and even a scotch-bright work to finish off the
edges.
Generally, I'll make up a wooden guide and secure it and the Lexan. I guess
you could look at it almost as a very slow speed routing operation.
BIG recommendation: However you chose to work with Lexan, get some and play
with it first before messing with your lenses. It does take a little
getting used to.
