The pressure wasn't relevant as we all have slightly different weights sitting on our nose gear. More relevant was the dimension 3-4 inches of chrome. Two things really stand out in my memory from servicing my nose strut. 1st, the nose must be hanging free while adding the Nitrogen. (jack the plane else, you'll end up with a flat bottomed out strut- I now it sounds obvious). 2nd, the quality of the valve requires much skill in disconnecting the nitrogen supply. Which is to say, I had to over service my strut to account for the slight loss in pressure while spinning off the connection at my fastest possible rate. The end result in my hangar was a quite lengthy (painful) iterative process. Perhaps what I'm really saying is have a pro help you.
