The 1 and 2 HP shop vacs are great for dust control.
One or two caveats, however--put the vacuum unit outside your building.

are not HEPA filters, even with the larger paper bags.
Ground up fiberglass is much like asbestos--we don't need Mesilothemia
(Sp?)
running rampant through our ranks in a few years.
Additionally, ground up epoxy from sanding is much more likely to cause
epoxy
sensitivity.
When I was a young man, I worked as a chemist in an epoxy paint factory.
One
of the guys there developed sensitivity to the point where it mimicked
asthma
every time he came into the building. One day he died.
Fresh air make up and exhausting of dust particles is mandatory for safe
working.
