The cost to install a Lancair IVP with all 5 windows covered was $2300 including labor. But due to the stiffness of the film and the complex curve of the front windshield, it has to be put on in three pieces. The result is a hairline seam which is not objectionable in my experience. Flight testing revealed a 30 degree F difference with the film installed so here in CA it was worth it! They company who makes the film is located at www.aerogoldfilm.com and they can provide details as to distributors.
