But, my hardner is turning brown! so i am not sure we should blame the sticky-stuff pump for the darkening of jeffco hardner! My guess is light exposure is to blame. my hardner bottle sits out on a bench that receives a bit of filtered sunlight. it has been exposed for about 6 months now. the hardener is not very dark, not nearly as dark as maple syrup. but, i just bought a new supply and the new stuff is noticably lighter. tests of recent batches dont show any noticable lack of strength, but i have now switched to the new hardner and will throw a garbage bag over the bottle each day when i leave......
