I'm using CarbHinge just to eliminate the rivets as they invariably show thru, even with a bid of glass over them. I have had sucess riveting/screwing and glueing metal hinge in other areas and would recommend this for all hinge installations like the gear doors, etc. It will be hard to remove but will never work loose.
