When applying the top and bottom hinge halves to t he cowl,  is there any
special care or method that one should use to ensure that the rivets holding
the hinge half to the cowling do not work loose?

As of now I propose to  use  1/8" rivets with countersunk heads at a 5"
pitch around the cowl edges.  I use the 1/8" rivets to take advantage of the
slightly larger heads than the 3/32".

Those of you who have successfully completed the installation of the hinges,
do you have any words of wisdom for me?

Regards

Ian Crowe
