I have been hearing discussion regarding 320 tip tanks (non-existent), but a
question arises. If memory serves, the Beech Debonair had "tuna tanks" as an
option. These were bulbous wingtip tanks that held about 20 gallons. Has
anyone investigated such an option on Lancairs? Issues which would be of
interest are structure, aerodynamics and human bladder capacity. Of course
transoceanic flyers would be interested....Ted Noel
