Quite a few years ago, several builders were saying their LNC2 main gear
doors were open a little bit in flight, at the trailing edge. When I fitted
those doors on my 320, I set them so the trailing edge closed first with the
leading edge of the doors about 1/2" open at the same time. This would
preload the trailing edge of the doors with them fully closed for additional
pressure. Never did get to test this since I sold the airframe before it
was finished.
