The LNC2 Handbook says the cg range is 15 to 29% MAC or 24.5 to 30.3 in. F.S. An article in the Lancair Mail newsletter, 1st quarter issue, 1999, states that Orin and Doug performed flight tests with both the small tail and the MKII tail and found that the forward limit could be moved to 11% MAC. This moves the forward limit forward 4% or 1.65 in. The new range is then 22.9 to 30.3 in. F. S.

Has anyone flown their LNC2 with a cg as far forward as 22.9 FS? I just finished my weight and balance, and my worst case forward cg puts me at this limit (low wing fuel, full header, no baggage, no passenger). Thanks for the help.
