From what I have read, the consensus appears to be that banjo fittings are more restrictive to flow than straight-in fittings - which comes as no great surprise.  FWIW I would look to replace it.  Here are a few of the URLs I have that have fittings, one may have something like what you need.

   I have a Cosmo 13B . There are Metric to AN adapters that will replace the banjo

in most if not all cases. Both the engine and the oil coolers. May take a little hunting

but probably worth it as the banjo fittings are restrictive to oil flow. IMHO

 Jump in here guys! Any other opinions?
