Just for everyones information if you have the Corvette LS1 coils that Tracy called

out and Ed and others have (#12558948) and you order the plug/harness from

"gmpartsdirect" you have to enter part #12569111 in the search window of their Web

site. The part number that will show in the cart will be #12582190 and that is the

part number that will be on the order and package when you receive it just like Ed's

photo shows. If you enter #12582190 in the search window it will come up as "not

found".

No, Dale, I ordered the 12582190 instead of the 12569111.  The reason is that I was using the 12558948 coils which are a bit different that the ones that Mark are using.  They plugs may well be interchangeable, but I didn't want to chance it.  The plugs/harness I ordered DO fit the 12558948 coils

One down side on the harness is that the leads are fairly short in length which sort of restricts you in positioning the coils IF you are going to use the harness as it.  If you are simply going to clip the plugs and attach new wires then of course it doesn't matter.

I am checking into a source of the plugs.  I have ordered the components needed to build up a plug and will check and see if it fits.  If so and you are willing to crimp the terminals on the ends of the wire and install them in the plug then this source may be even less expensive and you won't have to clip and splice wires..

I will let you know in the next week or so.
