That = was done when I decided not to run the turbo. Well, it's back now, and = looks great, but of course it wouldn't fit the mount due to the fact that it = has the old first gen RX-7 front cover. Another package from Bruce, and = I've now swapped the front cover, and installed the engine. There was much rejoicing :-) =20 All the sudden, I have about 100 cool things to do in the engine compartment. I finally don't have to imagine how much room there will = be here or there, though I could imagine plenty of space when needed :-) =20 =20 One thing I noticed right off the bat, was that the exhaust is going to = be very tight, and will interfere with my plans for an under-engine = radiator. Something else I noticed was how perfectly the turbo fits... Hmmm, with = the turbo outlet pointing forward, I was planning to just make a U-turn out = the side of the cowling, with no muffler. That's starting to be quite = appealing now. Of course this means that I'll be truly normalizing the engine, = rather than trying to make any boost above sea level.
