There might be some lessons to be learned for people like me who are using single alternator, dual barrety, electronic ignition systems. It seems he left his master on overnight. He charged the batteries for a while, but the 60A alternator was working hard and blew the 50A breaker. Keith didn't spot this till ECU lost enough amps and the engine cut when he was at 2500 ft, a few miles from the field and out of the "cone". He "almost" made it to the runway. Landed on the grass, crossed the runway, broke the nose strut, lost a wheel and stopped in < 300 feet. A good landing since he walked away with no injuries. Some damage to the winglet and a shorter left main strut. I hope he converts into an "excellent" landing and get the repairs done soon.
