I'm always interested in the small engine stuff. BTW, the secret to making a 2 stroke live is EGT/mixture control. You gotta run relatively rich in order to cool the piston crown. This is because the 2 stroke fires every stroke so there is only 1/2 the time for the piston to cool as compared to a 4 stroke. Look me up at Charlie's flyin next weekend or Tracy's Fall flyin if your are interested. BTW, I bet there are a lot of us with a similar background in racing 2 strokes.
