Hi, = The atkins=20 intake arrived today in good shape.  Ahhh, what's the green stuff = on the=20 inside?

Beats = me.  It looks=20 like paint, and it was like that when I got it.  I'm guessing = that=20 Dave Leonard decorated it for Christmas one year=20 :-)

Is the = bolt pattern=20 for the IDA Weber set up? If not, What TBs will fit, if you know?.

I believe it = was for the IDA=20 bolt pattern, and I don't know of any other TB that will fit, but you = could=20 probably modify an old IDA carb as nothing more than a pair of=20 butterflies.  You'd have to add two more injectors, but there are = bosses on=20 top of the secondary runners that are the correct spacing for a stock = secondary=20 fuel rail.  I don't really like the fact that they would be = pointing=20 perpendicular to the airflow=20 though.

Do you = have such=20 that you would like to part with?

I have one = that fits,=20 but it's the one I'm bolting onto my engine tomorrow (hopefully, as = a final=20 solution).  Sorry.  =

TWM has a=20 throttle plate/air horn set up, but it would cost me ~$550

I feel your = pain, twice=20 actually, since I have two=20 TWM TB's.

Have you tried=20 the injectors yet?  I hope they work okay!!!

Thanks for = sending those,=20 but I won't be trying them immediately.  I'm going to start with = the same=20 550 and 525 injectors that I was using in my last test.  I = know the=20 550's will idle fine, and I also know they're good, so I don't really = want to=20 introduce another variable at the moment by installing questionable=20 injectors.  Eventually, I'll probably have them tested, and try = them to see=20 if they idle better.

Thanks,
Tommy the Koil=20 Killer---The problem continues and I may have send the EC2 back to TC = for a=20 check up..

Have him = install the LS-1=20 software, and I guarantee you will never kill another Mazda coil on the = plane=20 :-)

I finished the fuel rails = tonight, and=20 have everything set to bolt back together tomorrow.  I'll at least = be able=20 to get a ground run in, so stand by for the report tomorrow=20 night.
