The Cozy- Lycoming crowd has always been buying Judy Saber's 8" prop
extension to push the prop out as far as possible from the wake of the
main wing. While I understand that it's hard to generalize because the
engine mount style makes a big difference, have you made any
calculations about how far back the prop is pushed if you mount the
RD1C on the 86-88 tranny housing? Is it roughly equivalent to the
typical Lycoming O-360 on the dynafocal mount with the 8" extension?
