Hi All,
I've rummaged through my misc.
metric hardware and stopped in a few bolt suppliers and have not been able
to find something to use to plug this hole (see attachment). Looks to be
a about 10mm x 0.667 th/mm. So what did the rest of you guys use?
Getting close to trying to fire
up this thing......

I think the stock
application is the oil pressure sensor. However, on some housings there
is an identical water port right next to that one that has a temp sensor in
it. I plan to see if I can get mine to work as an oil temp sensor in that
hole. Otherwise, you can get (somewhere) a little alan plug that goes in
there. Maybe from Atkins or Mazda.
I am wondering how I am
going to plug the heater water outlet that is in your picture. Anyone
have the solution?

All the sensors that came
with my EIS display are 1/8 NPT so I've had to mount oil temp and oil
pressure on the pad where the oil filter used to be. Thanks for the
info, I'll stop by an auto wreckers tomorrow and see if I can find a
oil pressure sender that fits.
Regarding the heater
fitting, I'm not certain but I think that's the inlet not the
outlet. I live in Canada so I plan to use it but if I
wanted to plug it I'd make or buy a barbed plug and stick it into a short
stub of heater hose.

Definitely the Outlet on the heater. The
inlet is back on the lower part of the water pump housing.
