Perry, that is where the oil pressure sensor normally would plug in.  I plugged it with an aluminum AN-3 plug.  I know its not metric but it was apparently close enough and the soft aluminum of the plug did the rest.

I've rummaged through my misc. metric hardware and stopped in a few bolt suppliers and have not been able to find something to use to plug this hole (see attachment).  Looks to be a about 10mm x 0.667 th/mm.  So what did the rest of you guys use?
 
Getting close to trying to fire up this thing......
