Subject: [FlyRotary] fuel injector sprayers

I was about to complete the installation of my fuel rails and remembered the sprayers.  their additional length totally ruins what I have fabricated at this point.  how necessary are they?  the part I am referring to originally fit in the intake airstream just below the injector consisting of a small disk full of holes, sort of a target for the injector.  my guess is that it help atomize the fuel spray.  since these injectors are way upstream of the rotor do you think I can get by without them?

Kevin,

I’m quite sure they are intended for use only with the injectors in the side housing.  Upstream in the intake it would seem quite pointless.
