My prop is a Performance Propeller 68"Dia 72" Pitch. Max level flight rpm 6100 = 196MPH TAS. Climb at 5300-5500 rpm ranges from 1100 -1600 fpm depending on density altitude and gross weight. I normally cruise at around 170 MPH TAS at 7.5 -8 GPH Ed Anderson RV-6A N494BW Rotary Powered ----- Original Message ----- From: "john" To: "Rotary motors in aircraft" Sent: Monday, December 30, 2002 10:58 PM Subject: [FlyRotary] Cruise info > I'm still working out the info to get the prop carved, and am wondering what > is the optimum engine rpm at cruise and the fuel consumption you fellows are > getting?
