Yes using the distributor on the early models but you would have better
luck using an electronic ignition. Mags that are available don=E2=80=99t li=
ke to
run at high rpm. They fitted some Kawasaki Z1s to run at Bonneville but
they misfired above 7000 rpm. Easily reached by the rotary. You could run
the AA/FD mags but they are huge. They draw a lot of power too. SDS EFI
makes a nice fuel injection and ignition. Powersport ran a conventional
Mallory electronic ignition, and a Aircraft mechanical injection. Ran great=
