All I did to put mine was sprayed some toolmakers ink = on the closed wastegate (any spray paint will work), to show clearly the = extent of the wastegate coverage. Then I removed the wastegate and the = stock wastegate hole is about the size of a dime. The cover is about the = size of a dollar coin (Loonie, up here in Canada).

I then used a die grinder to open up the hole to = within 1/16" of the coverage of the gate. On the inside I took care = to open it up even further to have a smooth inflow = path.

I didn't change the = bushings on the shaft.

I've never had any trouble controlling boost with = that.

But the new one that = I've got coming will have an even larger hole without a new larger = gate.
