Subject: [FlyRotary] Re: Cooling Ducts

I know you have a lot to get done and may decided to put this off until the  next revision, but thought I would throw it out at this time  - so I wouldn't hear later "Why didn't Ed tell me?"  {{:>)

You're timing is improving :-)  I'll be shaping foam today.  I have a (dumb) question about your MVC-033S picture.  Is the rectangular area toward the top of the picture showing the core as well, or do you really want a full core size area of duct before the core?

Good point, Rusty, glad you caught that.  No - the core should be at the end of the bell curve.  The rectangular shape after that was just something for me to hold on to as I handled the curves and keeping my mitts out of the way of the coordinates.

I really appreciate the info, and since I had no specific shape in mind, I'll lean toward making them like you show in the pics.  My goal is to make these without my usual staring/pondering/fiddling/waste-of-time stage.  When I get to the hanger, I'll just start whacking foam, and see how it comes out.  At least I have an idea what to shoot for.

Thanks,
Rusty
