Who ever suggested that I put the tach on the injector trigger is a smart= guy. It works great even with my RMI engine monitor. I ran it up today= all the way to 32=E2=80=9DMAP and it sure sounded good. That was giving= me about 5000 RPM static. Still had a couple of inches of throttle left= I was able to use a syringe to draw down the MAP as low as I wanted ( <7=E2= =80=9D ) but it didn=E2=80=99t seem to affect the ability to run at less = than about 15=E2=80=9D MAP. I guess the transition setting didn=E2=80=99= t take because the engine was not running. But it just doesn=E2=80=99t m= ake sense that the EC2 needs to have the CAS turning before it will accep= t input. Tracy, can you verify that the engine needs to be running in or= der to change the transition MAP? Are there limits to where it can be se= t? No smoke coming out of the tail pipe today. Will follow that issue. Couldn=E2=80=99t taxi to the restaurant because the Comm won=E2=80=99t tr= ansmit. Nothing fancy with my turbo set up straight stock including the waste gat= e controller and lower part of intake manifold. (see pic) Yes, it would be crazy to try to do this without the O2 sensor. I do hav= e one.
