So I have an original EM2, serial #003. This was great at the time and still offers advantages unique to rotary engine use that can"t be provided by a more graphical engine monitor such as the Dynon EMS-D10 which would complement my D10a. However it has been plaqued by intermittant display scrambling issues since the start and many changes to the installation have had no real effect to solve this issue. Simply pressing the cancel button resets the display, but this gets annoying. I was playing with an Arduino and built a rudimentary data logger and I see the potential to design a more graphical display using the data that I'm harvesting from the EM2 for the datalogger, but given the time constraints that I have, I can't see myself being able to spend enough time on that project in the near future. Since I know that later versions of Tracy's EM# series of monitors were more advanced I thought maybe I should inquire about availability from any abandoned projects out there?
