Anyone remember if the 2.85 gearbox uses the same gearset as the later 2.18 boxes? I know that power is taken out of the gearset in a different place (also 'fixes' rotation), but can't remember if it's also a different gearset in the transmission. If it's the same gearset, then Kelly's offer of measurements might be all Roy needs.

that you have ?...........The early 2.18 version was designated "RD1A" and the later versions "RD1B" and the 2.85 version
"RD1C"............I have the "RD1C" 2.85 and could provide input shaft dimensions.........
