You have to buy a prop anyway, right? Twin engine aircraft have engines that run in a counter rotating pairing. One clockwise and the other counter clockwise. Proof enough that the rotation direction is not a factor. Rob : Yes, the engine can be used in mirror image but that is for a "pusher" configuration. You can't turn the motor for using it in the "tractor" config. The 'pusher' config is the same direction as mounted in a car (automobile). Generally used with aircraft types like the Cozy etc. that needs a "pusher engine " setup.
