Rob, not 100% true as the rotary can even be made to run backwards but the ports are reversed intake and exhaust. The leading trailing plugs are wrong. But if you want to reverse the rotation you are already in a major modification mode Bill Jepson
Rob : Yes, the engine can be used in mirror image but that is for a
"pusher" configuration. You can't turn the motor for using it in the
"tractor" config.
The 'pusher' config is the same direction as mounted in a car
(automobile). Generally used with aircraft types like the Cozy etc.
that needs a "pusher engine " setup.
