Rob, not 100% true as the rotary can even be made to run backwards but the ports are reversed intake and exhaust. The leading trailing plugs are wrong. But if you want to reverse the rotation you are already in a major modification mode

(automobile). Generally used with aircraft types like the Cozy etc.
