I'll take dampers for forty. :-)

Seriously, I'll commit to $80 for 40 dampers. More firm sounds like it would last longer, but it would be nice if Tracy would weigh in on whether it matters for doing its job, especially with heavier props like the MT 3 blade.

I have located the source for the rubber dampers we use in our drives. However the minimum order is (600) units. If there is enough interest I will coordinate a group buy. I would like to have (40) units for my use with the intent of changing them out ever 50 – 100 hours depending on flat spot development. They are easily swapped without gearbox removal. The original dampers were 45A. I’m ok with 45A or we could go a little firmer. If we decided on 45A – 55A I would want to keep 80 units.

Item Description Quantity Price

1) BR-051599-65N 600 PC MIN $1.29 EA

MOLDED RUBBER BUMPER

65+/-5 ShA Neoprene  (original dampers were 45A)

              DEL: 8-9 weeks ARO

I think $2.00 per until will cover the inbound and outbound shipping charges as well as Texas Sales Tax. Both the Service Rubber and I are in state so the sales tax can’t be avoided.

So $80 would get a bag of (40) units /10 sets. We would need (15) people to commit. Let me know and I put your name on a list.
