Subject: Ignition at flexplate

I have attached pics for the installation of the 2 RX 8 sensors on the plate of the RD=1C. They are placed 180 degrees apart.  I am using one of the 4 locations where the damper is bolted to the flexplate.  I made a C channel bracket that captures the head of the bolt that secures the damper. A chunk of aluminum straddles the head of the bolt and fits into the C channel.  It is tapped for 10-32 bolt that is the trigger and can be moved to change timing.  The sensors can be moved in and out to get the right clearance.  I would like to put a scope on the sensors to see if any of the other 3 bolt heads affect the signal.  This is a mockup engine and has no rotors.  I would like to remove the front and rear stationary gears and lubricate the bearings and re install the stationary gears and using the starter spin the assembly over  to monitor the sensor with a scope.  The signals will be fed to a Chrysler ignition module and I want to ensure that they trigger properly. I will have to send picsin multiple emails Joe Berki 13b P Port Limo EZ

Don't forget the need to keep the flywheel/flexplate assy balanced.
