Joe, When performing a dynamic balance of the engine and RD-1C, a CAS was mounted in the flexplate area as a position reference. A washer with an extended portion was placed on one of the bolts holding the damper plate to the flexplate to activate the sensor. A washer of equal weight without the extended portion was placed on the opposite bolt to maintain balance. This required no modification of the original parts. Steve Boese
