I use Corrosion X on any electrical connection I think may need it.  But I don’t use fuses on anything in the airplane.  Just a personal hang up.  Having a manually resettable breaker has saved me lots of times, even on non flight critical stuff.

As for corrosion, I've heard about some marine product for electrical connections. Don't know brand. Maybe someone can chime in?

Corrosion on the fuse contacts was my issue, cleaned it all up. Seems to work fine now as  I cannot recreate problem, should be good until it corrodes again. Dont think I need backup power source, just need to find most reliable way of keeping power at EC,inj, coils, pumps. Maybe solid state breakers are the go.
