I think that is Russ Kotlarek’s Seawind.  From memory, I think he died in a crash in his Lake Amphib but my memory gets worse all the time.

Tracy:  It appears he did die in the crash of his Seawind.  That was a great looking installation on u-tube, but it also appears there was a fuel issue of some type that might have lead to a fire while airborne?
