While I would rather a 16X - a single rotary that is designed as an “extender” could be useful in making a hybrid airplane. Will be interesting.

Maybe this is old news to some but I hadn't seen any discussions on the list about the possibilities of this.... And it's been real quiet here lately.

While many of us would rather see them produce the long rumored 16X, there are some on this list that would probably get pretty excited about the promise of a single rotor from Mazda.
