Shirley and  I Thank You for the invitation!  November 4 weekend is already very busy for us.   We have grandsons here playing football Thursday and Friday and a granddaughter in band competition in San Antonio Saturday and Sunday.

Hi guys,

 

Our annual Pumpkin Drop is coming up, on Nov 4 (always, the 1st Saturday

in November). We usually have a good rotary turnout, and I'm hoping we

will this year, too. The P-drop is on Saturday, but you're welcome to

come early & stay late. Maybe we'll have a little impromptu alt-engine

flyin in conjunction with the P-drop. :-)

 

You can camp on the field, or bring a bedroll & we'll try to find you a

spot to sleep. Hotels are ~25 minute drive away, if you'd rather not

rough it. Lunch on Saturday will be jambalaya. If you've never had any

Cajun food, you don't want to miss it.

 

For those who haven't attended one of our events, Slobovia is about 10

miles north of Jackson MS, on the Memphis Sectional. 4800 x 80 feet of

turf, in good condition. If you need driving directions (Google Maps

finds us fine, but some other mapping programs don't), feel free to

email me offline or call me at 601-572-7198. The flyer has an email

address that I'm using for the P-drop, if you'd rather communicate by email.

 

Hope y'all can come; I'd love to see a bunch of rotorheads here for the

event.
