One alternative fuel pump is the "Airtex E8228" available at many automotive suppliers for about $80 USD.  I had two of these pumps plumbed in parallel as per Steve Izett's photo for the first 65 hrs on my homebuilt and used with the stock 13B regulator.  I now have two Walbro pumps supplied by RWS, plumbed the same way, still using the stock Mazda regulator.
