Hi Rick,

The two biggest vendors in the USA are Racing Beat and Mazdatrix, but I didn't find a P-port template on either site when I looked just now. One technique I've seen is to assemble an end plate, rotor, E-shaft and rotor housing so that when you rotate the e-shaft, you can see where the apex seal falls on the rotor housing as the rotor closes the side port. That would be approximate position of the 'bottom' of the P-port in the rotor housing. At that point, decide how big you want the port to be, measure 'up' half that diameter, and start boring, centered fore/aft in the housing.

If you look at various pics of P-ported housings, the diameter and position of the port seems to vary quite a bit, so....

I know Bill has been working with one of the original Powersport principals on a P-port with smaller diameter ports for more reasonable rpm/power levels suitable for a/c; maybe he will jump in with more info.
