Hi Kelly,

I have not heard of anyone coating the ends with Die-electric Grease – I certainly don’t see how it would do anything but help – unless the grease might possibly interferer with crimp forces – which I don’t see how it would. Any excess grease would simply be pushed out the open end of the pin.
Good idea.

Hi Andrew

Here is one source for the machined pins and the 4 indent crimper, there are other sources, but these have   worked well for me.

Ed,

Has anyone ever suggested if coating the wire ends in "Die-electric Grease"
before inserting into the pin/socket and crimping would be of help preventing
possible high resistance corrosion from forming ??.............Inquiring minds
would like to know !!.............<:)

Best,
Kelly Troyer
