| Thanks Charlie. Yes all my earths go back to a forrest of tabs. Pretty sure it will be an earth issue also, as its a new problem on a system that has been working well. Some connections are crimped as in the later part of wiring I got a bit tired of sniffing solder. Nearly all my wiring problems are associated with those crimped connections so I just solder them now as they appear.
There is an aerial ag business based on our farm, I watch & admire them flying close to the edge of the air all the time. But its not for me, I really do prefer to fly in the middle, so I just wanted make sure the plane would cool enough to get me there next time. But yeah, I'll take the wheels off & check to see if I've spun a bearing.
