20B crank separation, about the only difference when compared to a 13B

It can be done.  You do need to make yourself a crankshaft puller.  Mine consisted of a threaded rod, about a foot long (it’s been several years, I may be off on that)’  one end has to be threaded to fit the shaft, I think it is a 17 mm thread, but it is the same as the spark plug.  Use a heavy (mine was a 1 x 4 piece of steel about a foot long-an overkill, but that is what I had) pry bar.  Drill a sloppy fit hole in one end that your threaded rod will loosely fit.

When you are ready to separate the shaft, screw the threaded rod into the hole in the shaft, pad the end of the shaft, place the pry bar over the threaded rod, even with and across the end of the shaft, and run a nut down the threaded rod to the pry bar.  Pound on end of pry bar.

Now, if this doesn’t thoroughly confuse you, and everyone else, I’d be surprised, but is is doable.

Good luck!

Bob
