The PSRU is from HIRTH,  which they developed for their own line of two stroke engines. It is rated up to 140hp and has a large range of ratios available. I picked a 3.3:1 . I have now about 50hrs of runtime on the test stand and AC and never did more than putting oil in. Assembly and disassembly about 25 times on the test stand PSRU and there has never been any oil leak. The down side is, like with Rotax, you have to take the PSRU appart to remove it from the engine.
Input and output of the PSRU are with a tapered shaft, which is way better than a spline, as Rotax has it.
