Not stupid, something to look at. I've just gotten to a point to see it's causing a problem. Haven't had the opportunity to take a closer look yes. It is my back up unit so had had limited use. I will hopefully learn more if I make it out to the airport
tomorrow on my day off.
I miss having Tracy's engine monitor (EM2). I had not realized how much easier the tuning prices is with those ten little map bars showing the mixture. A stand alone O2 sensor is useful but not as much as the monitor.

This may be a dumb question, but is the EC-2 program knob centered on the potentiometer's travel. In other words, if you turn it CCW and it stops at 7 o'clock, and then turn it CW it should stop at 5 o'clock. If it doesn't, then you need to re-center the
knob so the pointer is correctly referencing the true position of the potentiometer. If the knob has been installed incorrectly, you may think you have set it to go rich, when in fact the potentiometer shaft is still on the lean side. You push the button
expecting one result, but you get the opposite.
