In other words, if you turn it CCW and it stops at 7 o'clock, and then turn it CW it should stop at 5 o'clock. If it doesn't, then you need to re-center the knob so the pointer is correctly referencing the true position of the potentiometer. If the knob has been installed incorrectly, you may think you have set it to go rich, when in fact the potentiometer shaft is still on the lean side. You push the button expecting one result, but you get the opposite. Mark On Sat, Nov 30, 2013 at 4:24 PM, Chris Barber wrote: > Yes, it's back together. Obviously, the rear bearing (and gear) was replaced new as was the rea= r rotor bearing that showed slight wear. The front rotor bearing and front = stationary gear bearing were fine. I have been able to clean up the overall install a bit more and am loo= king forward to fine tuning now that I have seemingly got the timing to pla= y nice.=A0

The current issue is that the PCM is not responding as before. It seem= s to be related to the program knob. Ill position the knob, press the progr= am button but don't get a response consistently. The program button see= m ok as it primes in Mode 0 fine. Also, the mixture knob adjusts the mixture as expected.=A0
