If it is going to need to pass emissions you might want to bypass the
reactor for these "Repairs"...................On the other hand you might try a
nice gentle push start. Spin it up in 2nd gear. If you get it running get it up
to normal temps and slowly pour in about a pop cans worth of plain old tap
water into the throttle body. This will take all of the carbon off of the
rotors. Add some 2 cycle oil to the fuel tank and make sure the OMP is
working. This is what happens when you burn multigrade dino oil in a
rotary.
One pop can for each housing for carbed engines. Same for piston engines
before an overhaul. Ends all of the scraping and wire brushing.
Do this outside with an old towel over the tail pipe. A ghastly load of
crap comes out of old engines cleaned this way. This stuff stains and will not
wipe off of anything.
