Joe,
I would not use the stock Mazda oil cooler mounts in an aircraft........They are rubber
bonded to metal with no failsafe in case of failure of the bond........I have seen several
mounts that encapsulate the cooler at the end caps between metal with rubber or other
cushioning material providing the vibration isolation..........FWIW

Joe,
I think those mounts are part of the oil cooler assy from the factory. They
are installed to the cooler with some type of brads and are not removable as
I recall??

Does anyone know where one could get the rubber mounts for the RX 7 2nd gen
oil cooler?  They have embedded studs and provide some isolation,  Thanks
for any help.
