No. Didn't find gluing necessary with the two-piece RWS seals.
Have about 2.5 to 3 hours on it now. Haven't tried to start it since
the last 1.5 hr flight.
Still hoping compression will come up as the new apex seals wear in,
although Ed has a point about the side seals.
However, I hope that they won't be a major factor. Time will tell...

Re: [FlyRotary] Compression
sucks!
Did you super glue the apex seal
?
Every time I glued them it was a real
bitch to get it started and it ran rough for a few minutes until the
glue seams broke, I use starting fluid to get it started for the first
couple times and then the compression comes up.

Finally brought a compression tester
to
the airport yesterday. 30 - 45 psi at low (maybe 100 RPM).
So, I'm definitely going to install some kind of primer.
How many hours is it going to take for apex seals to seat better?
Any recommended RPM for running in the engine? 4,500, 5,000,
5,500?
Mix extra or less oil in the gas during this?
Hoping to have right radiator installed this weekend, so I can start
running at full power.
