Yes, the RX-8 / 13BREW sensor is problematic with the earlier EC2, especiall= y on the Renesis trigger wheel which has an asymmetrical trigger pattern. Fi= rst step is to parallel it with a 1K resistor. There are other additional f= ixes I've used as well. The next level is to put back to back 2.4V zener d= iodes (in series) across the CAS. I do this on all EC2s returned for chang= ing to BREW and Renesis engine use. Tracy Sent from my iPad On Nov 8, 2012, at 2:57 PM, "Steven W. I r= emember Tracy saying the Renesis CAS was just different enough to cause prob= lems with his older EC2=E2=80=99s. It would be interesting to test with the p= re-renesis 13-REW CAS. > =20 > Bobby > =20 --Apple-Mail-F9494FB1-D29C-4999-9277-43836243F335 Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable

Yes, the RX-8 / 13BREW= sensor is problematic with the earlier EC2, especially on the Renesis trigg= er wheel which has an asymmetrical trigger pattern.  First step is to p= arallel it with a 1K resistor.   There are other additional fixes I've u= sed as well.   The next level is to put  back to back 2.4V zener d= iodes (in series) across the CAS.   I do this on all EC2s returned for c= hanging to BREW and Renesis engine use.
